Getting Started

Once registered you will have access to the web portal. 

You will be registered as the farm admin and be the only one who can access the portal. Once logged in you will need to set up the following before creating forms:

• Users - create users who will have access to your forms.
• Farm Info - add your farms and respective field names and areas.
• Companies to bill - add the different businesses you may contract farm for to associate and charge labour accordingly.

The video will show you in detail how to do each of these steps.

Give your employees their login details and get them to download the app. Once successfully downloaded, the user can input their details you provided. 

Click create new form. Build the form starting with the name noting the following:

• Label is what is the data variable you want to collect (e.g. Weight (kg)). Note this will also be the column name when you export the data.  
• Type is the format you require the data in (e.g. number, text, picture, farm, field, dropdown etc).
• Required box - ticking the box will ensure the user must enter a value and cannot leave it blank.

Continue adding the sections that you require.

For any form requiring your "Fields" drop down, you must also include the "Farm" drop down before that. Tip - Split your farm so you have a shorter field list for the user to select from.

Click edit portal to view (and/or amend) the forms already constructed. Common edits our customers make:

• Re-ordering of variables in the form or drop down options of a specific variable.
• Adding additional variables which the admin wants in the form

Once you're done, don't forget to hit save!

Log into the app in the morning when you have signal in case you try and open it when there is no signal.  

It doesn’t matter if you enter data with no signal – it will store the data – but the app needs to be loaded to work.

Every time a job is finished, the user can complete the relevant form and then submit it for your analysis at a later date.

Once in the portal you can export the submitted responses and place into your master spreadsheet.

To export, click select all (or select the specific entries you want to export) and it will download a file. It will only display the entries that you haven't exported so if you want to see all the entries then you will need to select show exported and chose the defined date range and all entries will show.

Copy the data from the downloaded file and paste it into your master spreadsheet.

Each time you import data you simply add the new data below the existing data, giving you an increasing amount of invaluable data.
